The Experience

Where Kids Turn Fall Ideas Into Real Businesses

Night Magic Market is a Halloween-themed evening entrepreneurship camp for kids ages 8–13. In a fun, festive setting, campers go through the full entrepreneurial process by creating a business concept, designing a brand, developing a product or service, and learning the basics of pricing, marketing, and customer communication.

The experience culminates in the Night Magic Market, where campers set up their booths and showcase their businesses in a magical evening marketplace filled with string lights, seasonal décor, and fall fun.

Whether your child is a first-time entrepreneur, already has a business idea, or simply wants to build confidence and creativity, this camp offers hands-on learning and memorable experiences in a supportive environment.

Campers will learn how to:

  • Develop a business idea
  • Create a brand and logo
  • Price products and understand profit
  • Market their business
  • Practice customer service and sales skills
  • Set up and run a marketplace booth

All materials needed to create a prototype are provided. Campers are also welcome to bring materials from home or continue developing an existing business or project.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age is camp for?

Kids ages 8–13. The camp curriculum is designed for students in 4th–7th grade. We do accept some 7-year-olds if they are ready.

If your child is slightly above or below this age range but you feel like it could be a good fit, it probably is. Just reach out and we're happy to talk it through.

What is the staff to child ratio?

1 camp leader and 1 assistant per 10 children.

Each staff leader is an adult who has experience working with children. Staff assistants may be teens or young adults who have been trained and work to assist the lead.

What will they be doing?

Your child will move through the full entrepreneurial process — from developing an idea and creating a brand to pricing, marketing, and launching in the Night Magic Market.

What is the marketplace?

The Night Magic Market is a real evening marketplace on the final night where kids set up booths and sell to friends, family, and the community under string lights. It's the highlight of the whole camp.

Can people attend the marketplace?

Yes! We welcome friends and family to come shop and celebrate what your child built. It's a fun, festive evening event.

How many kids will be in each camp?

Camp groups are kept to around 10 kids, so every child gets plenty of attention and space to engage.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope! Every camper receives a full Business Box with all the supplies they need. If your child has a specific product idea and wants to bring materials or a prototype from home, that's always welcome too.

Is this camp inclusive?

All types of learners are welcome at KidPitch. Caregivers may attend with children who need additional support. If you have specific questions about accommodations, please reach out and we'll be happy to talk it through.
