Where Kids Turn Ideas Into Real Businesses
At KidPitch, kids turn ideas into real businesses through hands-on entrepreneurship activities. Campers create a business, build a brand, develop a product or service, and learn the basics of pricing, marketing, and sales.
The experience concludes with the KidPitch Marketplace, where campers showcase their businesses, practice selling, and build confidence through real-world experience.
Along the way, they develop creativity, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills that extend far beyond business.
Campers will learn how to:
- Develop a business idea
- Create a brand and logo
- Price products and understand profit
- Market their business
- Practice customer service and sales skills
- Set up and run a marketplace booth

Frequently Asked Questions
What age is camp for?
Kids ages 8–13. The camp curriculum is designed for students in 4th–7th grade. We do accept some 7-year-olds if they are ready.
If your child is slightly above or below this age range but you feel like it could be a good fit, it probably is. Just reach out and we’re happy to talk it through.
What is the staff to child ratio?
1 camp leader and 1 assistant per 10 children.
Each staff leader is an adult who has experience working with children. Staff assistants may be teens or young adults who have been trained and work to assist the lead.
What will they be doing?
Your child will move through the full entrepreneurial process — from developing an idea and creating a brand to pricing, marketing, and launching in the KidPitch Marketplace.
What is the marketplace?
The mock marketplace is where it all comes together. It’s a fun, low-pressure showcase where kids practice business skills using pretend money. No real money is exchanged, and there are no winners or rankings.
Can people attend the marketplace?
Yes! We welcome friends and family to come and participate. It’s a fun way to celebrate what your child built.
How many kids will be in each camp?
Camp groups are kept to around 10 kids, so every child gets plenty of attention and space to engage.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope! Every camper receives a full Business Box with all the supplies they need. If your child has a specific product idea and wants to bring materials or a prototype from home, that’s always welcome too.
Is this camp inclusive?
All types of learners are welcome at KidPitch. Caregivers may attend with children who need additional support. If you have specific questions about accommodations, please reach out and we’ll be happy to talk it through.
