Free Business Kits & Games for Kid Entrepreneurs

When I first started KidPitch, my goal was simple: create a step-by-step system that would help kids turn their ideas into real businesses.

I spent countless hours researching entrepreneurship education, consulting with teachers, and designing interactive digital business kits that could guide children through the entire process on their own. Each kit was built to be fun, engaging, and packed with real-world skills.

After running our pilot programs, I learned something important.

While families loved the business concepts and activities, much of the feedback centered around the value of in-person support. Parents shared that their children benefited most when they had opportunities to collaborate, ask questions, and receive encouragement from mentors and peers.

That feedback led me to pivot.

Today, KidPitch focuses on hands-on camps and workshops supported by a curriculum and workbook designed specifically for in-person learning. The results have been incredible. We've watched kids build confidence, discover their strengths, and proudly present business ideas they never thought possible.

But I still had all of those digital resources.

Rather than let them sit unused, I decided to make them available for free to families everywhere.

Whether your child dreams of running a lemonade stand, opening a jewelry shop, becoming a content creator, launching a YouTube channel, or building a career as a pro gamer, there's a kit waiting for them. Each one is interactive, self-guided, and designed to be genuinely fun — not just educational.

Business Kits

Each kit walks kids through 10 steps (or levels) to build a real business from scratch — covering brainstorming, branding, budgeting, marketing, pitching, and launching. Kids earn PitchBucks along the way and finish with a certificate of completion.

  • Slime Shop Digital Kit: For the kid who's obsessed with slime. This 10-step kit guides them through launching their own slime shop, with a location matching game, slime-making tutorial, tips for creating galaxy slime and sensory slime, a cost and profit calculator, and a price list and sticker label template for their products.
  • Jewelry Shop Digital Kit: A 10-step kit for kids who love making accessories. Covers brainstorming, branding, budgeting, and launching a jewelry shop — with a bead design video tutorial, location matching game, tips for organizing supplies and finished products, and a Canva price tag template.
  • Content Creator / YouTube Star Digital Kit: This one is for the kids who were born to be on camera. Instead of steps, this kit is structured as 10 levels — and it goes deep. Kids work through finding their creator identity (there's a quiz!), building a channel brand, planning content, recording and editing basics, growing an audience, understanding the YouTube algorithm, online safety, and pitching their channel idea. Includes a content idea spinner, an algorithm bot builder, a Safe or Not Safe game, and a healthy creator spin wheel.
  • Sports Star Business Kit: For kids who want to turn their love of sport into a business. This 10-step kit covers brainstorming, branding, budgeting, marketing, and launching — with a "which sports business is right for you?" quiz, a location game, a poster creator, and a sports trading card builder as the PitchBucks reward.
  • Pro Gamer Business Kit: Our newest kit, and one of my favorites. This 10-level kit is built for kids who want to turn gaming into a real business — covering channel branding, fan squad building, content planning, gear setup, growing an audience, the YouTube algorithm, online safety, and pitching. Includes a gaming business builder game, a Safe or Not Safe challenge, a healthy gamer spin wheel for taking breaks, and a game scene builder as the PitchBucks reward.
  • Nonprofit Business Kit: This one is a little different; it's for kids who want to use their business skills to help others. Instead of keeping the profit, they use it to support a cause they care about. The kit walks through all 10 steps, including how to find a board of trusted adults to support their mission. We use a lemonade stand as the fundraiser example, so the budgeting and product tools carry over perfectly.

Games

These standalone games are great on their own or as a warm-up before diving into a kit.

  • Magical Marketing Adventure Game: A fantasy-themed adventure game with four challenges that teach kids the basics of marketing — branding, slogans, advertising, and customer service. Each adventure uses a different format: multiple-choice, drag-and-drop word puzzles, timed clue cards, and visual best-choice rounds. Beat all four to become a Marketing Wizard and unlock Esmeralda's potion room!
  • Profit Pirates Game: A quick 5-question pirate-themed quiz that tests kids on the money math behind running a business — calculating profit, revenue, and costs using real lemonade stand scenarios. A great warm-up before tackling the budgeting steps in any of the kits.
